Worksafe Medics performs periodic medical assessments of workers exposed to a wide variety of potentially harmful substances and hazardous working conditions on-site, nationally. Designed to assure the long-term health and wellness of your organization’s valued employees, our exams can have both a positive effect on employee health, wellness and productivity and act as an effective safeguard against the financial and emotional costs associated with illness and injury.
Having provided such services for over a decade, we are highly experienced at conducting health monitoring exams for exposure to dangerous substances such as lead, asbestos and pesticides, in addition to WCB audiometric testing (for noise exposure) and drug screening. Under these programs, we conduct all physical testing, organize the collection and analysis of blood and urine samples, and prepare a written report, which is provided to the client’s medical department (if applicable) upon completion. Our physicians are also available to provide the proper counselling and education on health effects to individuals for whom levels of exposure exceed the norm. Once the medicals have been performed, an internal peer review ensures that all forms are completed in a manner consistent with our national standards.
With the capacity to provide service at our own clinics, at more than 75 affiliate clinics, or on-site at remote locations, Worksafe Medics assumes complete responsibility for coordination and quality control.
